The Climber of the Year in F1 poll starts after 8 races. It should be an award for the driver and team who show the best improvement in their performance compared to the last year.

This year, before the Climber of the Year in F1 is officially started, I am thinking over the possible winners. Looking at the table below you may notice that many pilots from 2005 are missing and those who remained had found themselves on pretty interesting positions in 2005. However, speaking strictly of points, you notice that the freshman Nico Rosberg is in the lead, with his 4 points. Though his reliability is bad because of many retirements, the technology is clearly behind. Considering the balance of the performance of the pilot and the car, it must be said clearly that Felipe Massa is aspiring to the Climber of the Year as he has already gained 7 points more than in the whole last year. We will see how the standings evolve and who you, our readers, vote for in the end. Your vote should be just, clear and should chose the best climber, regardless of you otherwise support.
