UK RACE CAR AUCTION ATTRACTS GLOBAL INTEREST

Simon Charles Auctioneers & Valuers are holding one of the biggest race and rally car auctions in Europe on 18-19 February, 2009 in Manchester. In addition, a sale of race transporters and motorhomes will take place on 18 February.
Sponsored by Crash.Net, the auction will attract bidders from around the world via Simon Charles" unique real-time online bidding system. Many of the vehicles are expected to attract global interest and will be put under the hammer from 2pm on 19 February, allowing potential buyers to log-in from around the world in real time.

In the current economic climate, the auction is expected to be over-subscribed and many of the lots are expected to be sold overseas. Lots will include race and rally cars from all categories, including classic and historic examples. Entries are now being accepted by logging on to www.racecarauction.co.ukor www.simoncharles-auctioneers.co.uk, where entry forms can be downloaded.
Also at the auction will be a trade hall with exhibitors selling racewear, motorsport memorabilia and other motorsport-related services.
