Hamilton got the upper hand right from the start, which was to be expected. Trulli had to pit as soon as the first lap because of his broken front wing. Hamilton has a several second's advantage. Trulli gives up on the lap 3. Sutil retires on the lap 41 with an engine trouble. Hamilton can win the World Title already in this penultimate race. It is obvious that Kimi has to let his team mate Felipe to the front, as he needs every point. The race went easy then. Hamilton kept his advantage. Between the laps 39 to 56 Massa gained time on Räikkönen, Kimi lets Felipe pass comfortably. Alonso comes fourth after two previous victories, which is another great success for Renault.
