This year's GP was dramatic for Ferrari. F.Massa had an excellent start from the third place and Ferrari was unstopable again. Alonso reached a better starting position for the first time this year and immediately became the center of the media attention. On lap 24 Hamilton had to pit with a burst tire, falling from the second to the ninth place. The pit stops do not affect the standings this time, with one exception, when K. Räikkönen gets over Alonso.
