In the Friday's sessions some test pilots and of course Pedro de la Rosa proved their speed and the shape of McLaren-Mercedes. Jenson Button dominated the Saturday's practice for the first time in his life and Michael Schumacher got to the first row again after a long time. The race was made dramatic especially by retirements of drivers with various problems. Kimi won over Michael and Rubens. McLarens proved their strength once again.
