F1 in Schools
F1 in Schools celebrates its 10th World Finals in Abu Dhabi with the largest event in its history. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will host 38 teams of students from around the world, all competing for the Bernie Ecclestone World Champions trophy and university scholarships.
School students will be racing miniature Formula 1® cars, which they have designed, tested and manufactured themselves to compete in the World Finals of the prestigious Formula One in Schools™ Technology Challenge.
This STEM based competition challenges them to form teams and create their own Formula 1 car of the future, using computer technology and engineering processes to manufacture a scale-model replica of a modern day F1 car. The teams not only design their own race car, they also produce portfolios, and displays to illustrate the design and development of the students’ work. They will be giving verbal presentations to teams of high profile judges to explain the development of their team effort.
Competing countries:
Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Northern Ireland , Portugal, Qatar, Scotland, Singapore, UAE, USA, Wales.
