Sebastian Vettel won the qualification on the Monaco circuit, J. Button was second behind him and M. Webber third. S.Perez had a horribly looking accident in the qualification at the speed of 250 kph at the tunnel exit, as he hit wall first with his right side, got spinning and again with his already damaged right side came to a stop flat against the wall. The accident was mad but he was unhurt, he had to stay in hospital for observation though and couldn't race. Sebastian Vettel took off after the start like a bolt of lightning, followed by J. Button, F. Alonso, M. Webber who lost one position. On the lap six Vettel's advantage was already 4.5 s. The pit stops affected the race again and it is going to be like that also for the rest of the season. Lap 19 - J.Button in the lead with a 7 s gap before the second Vettel. Lap 34 - F. Massa has a problem and retires from the race, the Safety Car is deployed for the first time this season and consequently Schumacher has to retire with an engine trouble. On the lap 69 the Safety Car is out again following a chain collision of several cars near the swimming pool - Sutil slows down and Hamilton has a contact with him, who gets also his rear wing damaged, Petrov follows as well as J.Alguersuarri, who also retires. The only one to come out of the mill is Hamilton, even though his driving had been marked by several mistakes for which he would deserve penalization.

The race is stopped on the lap 72, 6 laps before the finish, so Hamilton's wing is changed, Vettel gets a new set of tires, the engineers had to literally carry it all in their hands. Restart - S.Vettel goes for yet another victory this year effortlessly. There is no end to the celebrations. His friend Jenson Button congratulates him cordially, I appreciate the honesty!! Great job guys.
The ZDF's commentary from N. Lauda is also supper, taking his cap off is a symbol of great respect to S.Vettel.
