Fans of the Australian Endurance Championship are set to enjoy all the action from the third round of the Championship with the event broadcast live across Australia and New Zealand on October 30.

Fox Sports will broadcast the event live in Australia, while TV3 will beam the race into homes across New Zealand.

Complementing the live television broadcast will be an online stream which will be available to fans globally, providing the most extensive coverage for an Australian GT event in the category's history.

Fans will also be able to enjoy post-produced coverage of the CAMS Australian Endurance Championship finale from Highlands Motorsport Park via a highlights package, set to be broadcast on November 24.

Highlands Motorsport Park is also set to host the final round of the 2016 CAMS Australian GT Championship where this year's Champion and winner of the Gold Driver Cup will be crowned, with a separate highlights package covering the exciting final broadcast on Fox Sports on December 1.

“It’s fantastic to have the Hampton Downs 101 broadcast live in Australia with Fox Sports,” said Australian GT manager Ken Collier.

“We know fans have been asking how they’ll be able to watch, so it’s great to be able to answer their questions and confirm coverage for the event.

"It's particularly exciting to have live coverage across New Zealand for the Hampton Downs 101 round of the Australian Endurance Championship and we look forward to putting on a great race."

The inaugural Hampton Downs 101 (October 28-30) is the first event to be held at the newly redeveloped circuit, and marks the penultimate round of the CAMS Australian Endurance Championship before the competition heads to Highlands Motorsport Park for the final event of the year two weeks later (November 11-13).

Nathan Morcom and Grant Denyer currently head the title fight after the first two events, with Klark Quinn, father and son duo Andrew and George Meidecke and former championship runner-up Peter Hacket and co-driver Dominic Storey nipping at their heels.

The battle for the CAMS Australian GT Championship is also balanced on a knife-edge, with former two-time champ Klark Quinn holding a slender advantage over Nathan Morcom with just one round remaining.

Roger Lago, who sits third in the championship standings, heads the Gold Driver Cup competition with Tony Walls the only man who can challenge him.

Tickets for both weekends of racing are now on sale, with 3-day passes for the Hampton Downs 101 from NZ$89 including free parking.

A 3-day pass to Highlands Motorsport Park, which will host the finals round of both the CAMS Australian GT Championship and CAMS Australian Endurance Championship, start from NZ$119.

Full entry lists and track schedules will be released closer to the events.
