F1 history cars
The World Champion Jochen Rindt's car from 1970. Coming up with unusual construction features. The wedge-shaped car's nose with a sharp leading edge did not allow the water radiator to be placed in it. Therefore two radiators were installed on the sides of the car. The spring mounting of all wheels was also new. Frameless body riveted of alluminium sheets and magnesium alloy sections, joined in the front and rear with supporting steel tubes frames of a square cross section. The panels were made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic. The engine as well as wheels were mounted to the frame. J.Rindt took the first race in GP Spain at the Jarama circuit near Madrid.
