Petr Fulín is heading into three championships with CUPRA TCR
After gaining his third championship title in the ETCC, Petr Fulín decided to compete in selected European TCR races at the wheel of new CUPRA TCR car. Prominent Czech circuit racing driver will fight for victories with the support of the Czech SEAT brand dealership for the fourth time.
"I am really happy that after three successful seasons with Petr Fulín, we can continue promoting the sportiest touring car brand and present new CUPRA TCR racing car," says Aleš Novák, head of SEAT Czech republic. "As in the last year, Czech fans can look forward to great races, as TCR Germany series will appear in Most in late April and CUPRA TCR with Petr Fulín behind the wheel can't miss the opportunity to be on the grid."
CUPRA TCR and skilled Fulín will appear in three different TCR championships.
Apart from German one there is scheduled TCR Europe weekend as well and team is planning to compete in World Touring Car Cup race at Nürburgring in May. Speaking of team, Petr Fulín will race under the licence of Fullin Race Academy. "It‘s great to have the opportunity to race with the new CUPRA TCR. In our 2018 project, we would like to introduce this car in wide-range of TCR Series. In a month we will start this season at Oschersleben in TCR Germany. Two weeks later, we will race in the same championship on our home turf af Most. In our plans there is participation in FIA WTCR weekend as well, we are waiting for confirmation of our start at Nürburgring, so in mid-May we might be able to compare ourselves with the world class field. In autumn we are going to end 2018 season in the
last TCR Europe race at Barcelona," describes Petr Fulín his plans for this year.
