F1 constructors
The concept of F1 is not exactly on friendly terms with aerodynamics. The downforce components generate a lot of aerodynamic drag, not to mention the rotating open wheels. That is why the constructors have to pay attention to detail in order to achieve the best parameters. Disregarding the price or difficulty. The wheel suspension is one of the components disrupting the airflow thus generating the drag. The economy is reached by placing the steering column into one of the upper shoulders which limits the number of disrupting components.
