The car you see in the picture is private possession. I present a short history here, there are other tables, designs and images to accompany it. Manufactured by Tatra Koprivnice Ltd. The cars first appeared on a racing track at the national open challenge - GP of CSR on 24th September 1950. One of them with capacity of 1985 ccm, the other 2350 ccm. There was a unique system of air-cooling, ensured by two axial fans, driven by cone belts from the crankshaft. The fans are supported by an ejection effect of exhaust gas, because the exhaust piping leads to air channels with air heated by the engine, entrained by the motional energy of exhaust gas. This was a unique layout of combustion engine cooling system (see B.Hanzelka - Grand Prix's Cars).
