It belongs among the oldest races in Europe. The first race was held as soon as 1925 at a circuit near the spa resort Spa-Francorschamps and with its over 14km it was one of the longest, most difficult and trickiest in the championship. The last race on this track took place in 1970, then the circuit was made shorter and rebuilt to meet the ever-increasing speeds. Several GPs were held in Nivelles and Zolder and in 1983 Spa was back, this time with a circuit of 6949km. This year we expect the 59th GP.
