The GP of Brazil is better known as Interlagos. As I heard from many other journalists, they are going to pass, because everything have been decided and the air-tickets are expensive. You drive anti-clockwise in Sao Paulo, which makes the race physically demanding, especially for hands moving in unusual direction and putting more stress on the neck, backbone and abdominals. I wish I would meet Emerson Fittipaldi who I admired as a little boy together with Lauda and Regazzoni. At the time of their biggest fame I used to ride a cart nailed of boards and some wheels downhill in Unhost, there were no money for a go cart. It used to be called a minicart and it was decorated by homemade stickers of Ferrari, Lotus or Ford. We controlled it with our feet and steered with strings. There were no names, only nicknames, whether you liked it or not. I was Fittipaldi and it made me drive well. When I remember those times now, 33 years later, I feel strange. Afterwards we drove carts made up of odds and ends, anything we could find. I used to get back home smelling of gasoline and oil, happy from the day. I guess I could assemble something like that again, even managers may get a little foolish time to time, don't they? I am laughing at it because some bords and wheels would probably cost the equivalent of a small motorbike today. Anyway, the events of this weekend are the last grand prix and the Prague's Autoshow, from October 21 again. You may see some interesting images on our site right after the weekend.
