Who can stop the Renaults?
After two unsuccessful races Ferrari called for the new F2005. It got a nickname "Ruttungswagen" among the drivers immediately - an ambulance for Michael Schumacher. Michael proved that it was another step towards perfection in both practice and qualification. However, in exchange for the Barrichello's car not being ready before the Sunday qualification. Michael Schumacher started the race from the second place after Alonso, Barrichello from the last one, as his mechanics had to change the gearbox after the qualification again. Schumacher kept his position till the lap 11, when he got out of the track, probably with a gearbox problem, retiring prematurely without points again. He hasn't had such a bad start for 13 years. Alonso in Renault dominated from the start to the finish, winning his second victory this year, leading the Drivers Table with 26 points. The biggest surprise of the season start are probably the Toyotas. Trulli's two second places and Ralf Schumachers' points are not an accident for sure. The second place in the Constructors Table with 28 points is a huge leap forward. McLarens also got better, Räikkönen third, de la Rosa, substituting for the injured Montoya, fifth, which put the team to the third position. Williams won some points as well, though only for the Webber's sixth place. There were points for Massa (Sauber) and Coulthard (Red Bull). Ferrari didn't win points once more-Barrichello was lucky to finish the race in the ninth position, Ferrari being the sixth in the Constructors Table with 10 points.
