This year's GP F1 of Hungary was interesting from the very first practice. F.Alonso won the qualification, though in a strange way, in the last lap after his tires were changed he waited in the pit for about 10 s which effectively blocked Hamilton, waiting in the queue behind, from going for a better time, as the qualification time expired. Alonso said he had been waiting for a signal from his physiotherapist, which was obvious from the TV, but there was also a shot of the team manager R.Dennis, who threw away the headphones in anger and exchanged several loud words with no one else but the physiotherapist. Never the discrepancies in McLaren Mercedes were so visible, however, this time the communication problems caused the team a good deal of embarrassment. The press speaks about the peak of a fratricidal war between the two drivers. Immediately afterwards many voices roused, especially F.Briatore asked for Vodafone McLaren Mercedes to be almost disqualified. Similarly the situation did not improve the ongoing trials between Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Scuderia Ferrari Marlbore either. The marshals sent Alonso several places to the back and the team was deprived of any constructors' points they might win. A similar punishment there was also for Fisichella. The comments in the press proved the journalists' excitement, trying to overhear and analyze any utterance around Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. F.Briatore let it be known, that he would happily take "his" Alonso back to Renault. Some days later, though, F.Alonso's manager Mr.Abad made it absolutely clear, that Alonso stays. I am definitely curious about the next team cooperation of both pilots and the coaching R.Dennis is going to give them.

L.Hamilton got into the first position after the start, followed by K. Räikkönenem, N.Heidfeld was third tailed by N.Rosberg and R.Schumacher. F.Alonso fell back as deep as the eight place. F.Massa went from the bad 14th to the even worse 16th position. Liuzzi became probably the man with the worst luck this Championship as he retired for the ninth time, which puts his mileage really low. Sakon Yamamoto appeared in Spyker but did not finish the race. The final standings were: L.Hamilton, K. Räikkönenem, N.Heidfeld. On the other places there were: Alonso, Kubica, R.Schumacher, N.Rosberg, H.Kovalainen, M.Webber, J.Trulli. The Championship after eleven races becomes dramatic on the top again, because 4 drivers have a chance to win the title.
