This year's Monte Carlo GP was an interesting show. The practice results implied another success for the red cars from Maranello. Both drivers were in the first row. Directly behind them, there were both McLarens. Monte Carlo was half wet this year, which showed in the race. Kimi made a mistake, shooting Sutil off, Rosberg changed his front wing twice, once he lost hitting Alonso. Kimi was drived-through immediately after the start as a result of the mistake of his mechanics, because his tires were not on about 3 minutes before the start. Ferrari was speculating about the weather and blamed it on a wrong tool in the end.

At McLaren they had a problem with the steering wheel for a change, respectivelly its computer and the Finn needed a second go to start from the pit lane. On the contrary, Rubens Barrichello got an opportunity to celebrate winning his first points this year. Hamilton took a full advantage of the dramatic situation and reached his first victory this year, ahead of the second R.Kubica and the third F.Massa.
