This year's GP was marked by expectations of F.Massa's hat trick. The practice implied it and, in the end, that was exactly what happened. Felipe shot off to the leading position, but during the race he swapped place with his team mate Kimi Räikkönen. The race was pretty dramatic from the beginning (G.Fisichella and Nakajima retired), the Safety Car was out immediately after the start because of a crash. At the Istanbul circuit, the direction is anti-clockwise, which puts additional stress load to the driver's neck, making it even more difficult. In the end, only Hamilton's McLaren managed to wedge itself between the two Ferraris.

One moment of interest was the celebration of Rubens Barrichello's 257th GP. Obviously, the Ferrari dominance continues and it will be interesting to watch who would be the Champion this year. Since the last year I have been saying that it will be no one else but Felipe Massa. Undoubtedly, he would deserve the honour for the long years in Ferrari.
