A dramatic race, when everyone wondered if F.Alonso would be crowned the new king or how many points can Kimi Räikkönen erase of his advantage. The wet road brought up the "wet race" which enabled the teams to choose tyres freely, which they did. Many pilots made a mistake of changing to the dry tires too early and had return to the pits for the original intermediate ones (R. Schumacher definitely lost the podium that way). Montoya, whose job was to watch for Kimi's back, was in the lead from the beginning. However 5 laps before the end he carelessly crashed, loosing points that would otherwise put the team in the lead of the Constructors Table, and Alonso, third up to that moment, came second right after Räikkönen, J.Button came third. Taigo Monteiro won a point for the 8th place, which is definitly a great success for Jordan, actually both drivers did well in the race, N.Karhikeyan wasn't last. We can truly look forward to the GP of Brazil.
