I am persuaded that the tires affect not only whether a driver will cross the finish line but also whether he survives or not. Kimi Räikkönen's accident in the GP of Europe was quite treacherous and his legs remained unhurt thanks to the monocoque's impact strength. Provided that at least two mandatory pit stops were introduced it would add the team service element into the race. As far as overseas races, there has been some rumors about Ferrari's effort and their readiness for the race. Quite opposite, Williams talks about changing the BMW engine for Honda and Honda is somehow disillusioned by B.A.R. behavior with the consequence of the severe punishment. B.A.R. will want to compensate for it in Montreal so the race is certainly going to be interesting.
