I watched the GP on satellite in Italy on holiday. The expectations were right and the race started well even with the safety car. There was just one driver to retire, probably the guy with the worst luck this year N. Karthikeyan with a mechanical trouble of his Jordan. I could see the immediate reaction of the Italian press, about two days after the race there was a new issue of Auto Sprint with an image of J. P. Montoya and a heading: Montoya, Alonso, Räikkönen, Fisichella - winners, McLaren and Renault - unmatchable, Ferrari - crisis. Michael Schumacher himself admitted that both technology and tires had been dealt with, however the car keeps performing as if it was stuck in a mud. FIA again interfered with rules concerning the flexible parts of the nose with respect to downforce. It is going to be interesting to see whether the regulations are to be changed again or whether there really is going to be a strike, as David Coulthard hectored. What's all this going to be?
