The first GP of Turkey has been perhaps the most interesting race this season. A lot of taking over, changing especially the rear tires (Williams, Ferrari), engine problems and leaving the track many times, all that were parts of the race. Kimi Räikkönen won again ahead of Alonso and Montoya, who lost his second position several laps before the end. The humidity was at 47%, air temperature 30°C, the circuit surface temperature 46°C. The circuit itself, which had been written about both good and bad before the race, is indeed interesting and demanding. The corners, straights to take over, climbs and descents are to be found more often than at other circuits of the championship.
