As I expected, the new qualification system and ban on tire changes retrenched attractivity of the GP. The favourites starting in the back, making their way to the front. It was another bad day for Kimi Räikkönen, whose "start pitstop" we all could witness, ended up with 1 point thanks to his talent. Narain Karthikeyan reached the 15th place, the best of all freshmen. Rubens Barrichello kept the Ferrari flag with his second place. Renault celebrated its triumph having both drivers on the podium.
