The GP of Spain was expecting Alonso to win. The fans filled literally every place and it was sold out. There was a risk of a serious accident after the start as both Minardis didn't manage to get moving. Luckily, the freshmen behind them avoided the crash quite with some skill. The whole race was a sore for Ferrari that didn't gain a single point. Especially the Bridgestone tires proved to be the weak link eliminating Schumacher from the race. Kimi Raikkonen won in the start-finish style, which was both, satisfaction for the previous races and motivation for McLaren. Ron Denis looked truly happy afterwards, hugging Nicky Lauda who was nodding in agreement. Absenting B.A.R. Honda which is not racing in Monaco either, as a penalty for manipulation with fuel and affecting the car's weight in Imola. I hope that some heads will roll as result of this unfortunate example of unfair play. This team may fight for high standings in classification.
