There is a Czech equivalent in the dictionary for the spoiler - the spoiler of the aerodynamic lift. |
How does it look and how does it work? It has a shape of a wing, only installed upside down. It does not generate aerodynamic lift like at the aircraft, but - mounted to a car - generates the down-pressure (NA) - see pic. There is a higher pressure on the surface of the airfoil where the bypass speed is smaller.
