UBIMET: Dry conditions for Qualifying and Race
Vienna, April 26, 2016 – Sochi will host the third Formula 1 race of the season this weekend. UBIMET will deliver high-precision weather information for the race as the meteorological service provider to the FIA. The latest weather outlook for Sochi: mainly dry.
On Friday patchy clouds are possible but these will dissipate quickly. Sun is expected in the afternoon with almost no clouds at all. Both trainings are expected to remain dry with a high of 16 degrees Celsius.
Saturday will see mainly dry and sunny weather conditions. The chances of precipitation are relatively low. The FP3 and Qualifying should be dry. Temperatures range between 16-17 degrees Celsius.
The race on Sunday will see dry conditions. Mid- and high-level clouds will be present during the day, but there is no chance of rain from today‘s perspective and the race seems to remain dry. Temperatures will be around 18 degrees Celsius.
