Progress for Repsol Honda riders on night 2 in Qatar

Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa had a positive second night of practice at Losail Circuit, setting the third and sixth best lap times, respectively, in the FP3 session, which decides the top 10 riders that transfer directly into tomorrow’s Q2 session.

After making a step forward in the FP2 session, Marc continued improving over the course of the evening, putting in some very consistent laps with a best effort of 1’54.835, while Dani posted his best lap time of 1’55.113, just over two-and-a-half tenths down on his teammate.

The 30-minute FP4 and 15-minute Q2 sessions await the Repsol Honda duo tomorrow at 7:55 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time, before Round 1 of the MotoGP World Championship gets underway on Sunday at 9:00 p.m.
